Love Dip Salsa is the product of the Elevate Program, a post-secondary continuing education class for young adults with IDD focusing on vocational and job skills. The program currently serves Midlothian, Waxahachie, and Red Oak! At the beginning of last school year, we applied for a Work Based Learning grant from Texas A&M and were awarded the full amount! We have been working to the bone to get our student led salsa business up and running and are so excited you are joining us on our journey! Why salsa? Well to start, we just think it's delicious! Also, the lead teacher for the Elevate program, Dana Gentry, had started a salsa business 15 years ago with her students and it was a hit! We thought we would resurrect the recipe.
